I agree with Clash. But how long we will have to live by this “ignorance”.

I can’t handle it any more. WTF has he done for ppl to worry that no one can fit into his shoes. Oh………pls. No more Kalam clones.

Kalam played along with BJP while they were displaying cheap 3rd rate nationalism “card” by Pokhran-2. This was a trade off between him and BJP before becoming the president.

He preches missile making in schools all over India.
If people consider him to be great, its just ignorance. We have to live by it.

when a prez uses his constitutional authority to interpret a political problem\situation..it becomes a tradition and a powerful message too. We had a very good one at that in Narayanan…kalam has been an abject failure at that…a President should be a politician…it is the highest political office in the land. If you like NRN or APJ or Big B…give them the Bharat Ratna…President of India is not an award…its a job. Kalam is not suited for it…history will judge him as one of India’s worst.

Come on guys…Dont hit on poor Kalam just because CNN IBN ran an article praising him ( CNN IBN sucks big time , I agree ). Apart from the fact that he was nominated by the NDA, I dont see what else he did wrong as President ( writing poems isnt a disqualification, and if there are suckers who want to read poems just because they are written by Mr President , more fools they, I say ).

I am fed up of this Kalam business. Wtf, if he writes poems? To start with, what credentials did he had to be a president? No wonder, ppl are proposing to put up Narayana Murthy as president?

The only consolation is that, in any case, the President here is a rubber stamp. His only duty is to shake hands with the foreign dignitaries. I wish they choose someone who can stand properly. You know, someone without a back ache or something.

There was a big news in papers when Shankar dayal Sharma slipped off a staircase. A big news when Kalam fell off from something. A news when he sneezed too. Ya, and it seems he wrote some poetry which never wud have got published without the credentials of being a president. I guess, I really don’t care whoever becomes a president as long as the 2 bucks I pay for my paper isn’t wasted on someone’s hairline fracture or casual cold.
