Mohanlal is good for nothing these days. No movies of him is watchable. Better we forget him. It is long time since I saw any of his films…his days in the industry are counted!!!

Just saw it on dvd. Lal, Shobana and Bhavana are watchable. Half the movie seems to be ‘lal in slow motion’ – highly overdone I must say. Attempted technical sophistication, with a no-substance plot.

Just saw this movie; looked for an online review and ofcourse -talkies is the first link on google.
My thoughts:
Positive: Always enjoy Mohanlal’s acting even with a crappy script and screenplay
Negative: Sad to see mohanlal dealing with a crappy script and screenplay
Bottomline: If you enjoy Lal’s movies, you will get through it, a no-brainer – well literally!

Some idiots say tat actors like lalettan shud give chance to yunger actors.Only thing i have to say is that,when lalettan made his entry to malayalam film industry, nazeer,soman,sukumaran all were in their prime, and lalettan has made his own name in the malayalam industry.So if these so called yungsters has talent,they can make their own name.

hey neethu.how can u say tat lalettan has to do grandpa roles now??? i don find any change in lalettans acting compared to old times except he has become more matured..how can u ask someone with 40 + to do the role of characters in akarayakarayakare and boeing boeing.and if lalettan shud do grandpa roles,wat do u expect from mamooty???role of a corpse huh???n abt prithviraj n jayasurya.do u tink if given a film like kireedom to them, can they act atleast 20% of wat lalettan did?Neethu, lalettan is a pure class, once on a life time actor.tleast he s nt doing college hero type roles in this age which can be seen in other lang films.I admit prithviraj can do justice to a campus film bt not matured character roles.U told lalettan has given nly flops in past 2-3 yrs.That shows how ignorant u r.Dear, in the last 2 yr lalettan had only 2-3 flops.What will ya call mamootys acting then, having had all flops last year.:)I know gals like u nly want to watch glamour(the likes f prithviraj n jaya…heheh).I admit they r more glamorous than lalettan(presently) bt don compare their acting wid the legend.And abt u calling laletan as elephant, don u dare use abusive words against lalettan.

I agree with a lot of views here. To touch upon some truths here – there are basically 2 factions in the film industry- one ruled by lalettan and the other by mammotty..if u cehck out the stars who act with these ppl, mostly they are the same. This proves just one thing – our super heroes decide who acts and who doesnt. Its a fact and lets not deny that. Also, mohan lal is too strong to be pulled down yet. u know why. Its just bcoz of US, the fans of lalettan. He command maybe the strongest of fan associations in india itself and that is why he can take decisions in any films he acts. Definitely its high time he changes the roles that he does, and to some extent he is doing that. FYI for some of the ppl here – Bhavana is NOT paired opposite to MohanLal in SAJ. Not even once has Mohan lal danced or romanced with Bhavana. Can you the name the last film in which Lalettan did such things? its been a long time. Now abt the awards, definitely its the influence and the command of these top 2 actors that doesnt give much exposure to other actors. thats the same reason our so called young actors are doing films in tamil and hindi. malayalam films will go on with our 2 super stars till they age and start acting like grandfathers..at the same time, i dont see any super star coming up in the next 5-10 yrs. Ditto for the malayalee actresses ( not many actually), where we try to get from north and other states and who eventually just fade with time.

I accept the reality that Mohanlal has lost his old karizmatic charm .
U said that lalettan should give chance to Prithviraj,jayasurya etc !! by this comment u have insulted prithvi $ jayasurya . u know y??
by the comment u meant that , young actors fear the ‘superstars’ and if they want to succeed ‘superstars’ has to give way to them !!! “there is no sportsman spirit”!!! IS THIS SITUATION PITTY & SHAME ?
PRITHVI,JAYASURYA etc must first give the audience some good characters and films which is evergreen and doesnt lose it freshness after many years .
Superstar tag is not a simple thing, its proves the acceptance of valuable ultimate film audience to a actor . lalettan and mamooka r now perhaps facing a bad time in their career . and u must not forget the good films they have given to us and served the industry for many years.
NEETHU , understand that currently malayalam film industry requires mohanlal . its too early for PRITHVI and others to take over the entire industry .
PLEASE understand that i am not a MOHANLAL fanatic , i am only a well-wisher of malayalam films.

In the movie laal’s appearance ugly and horrible , he looks like an elephant.

Mohanlal is an expired actor who is very good at giving mega flops recently (past 2-3 yrs), when compared to mamooty. Mohanlaal can no more dream of fooling the audience by his ugly appearance and dialogues like sawaari giri giri, nee kutti aane and many other Shi*ts. He should look for some grandpa roles , if he really wants to survive in the industry. He should move away and give chances to the upcoming talents like prithiviraj, jaisurya, narain n lot many others.

Its disappointed and shame to see that SAGAR ALIAS JACKY being getting destroyed in front of 2 HARIHAR NAGAR(it deserves it its success)
Mohanlal, Amal Neerad ,S.N swamy and Antony Perumabvoor and the enire production crew has to take up the entire responsibilty for its failure.
By the film SAJ , Mohanlal as a such high profiled actor has been become nothing infront of 2nd and 3rd line actors of 2HHN.
Hope our dear LALETTAN comes strongly in the coming films
