Pro. MN Vijayan’s way of presentation of subjects was novel and most interesting. I never read a book or essays like his style and type. What he narrated, he did it with his heart, not to get appreciation or some benefit.
His life was very simple as his death.

He never engaged in silly controversies and I believe he was never think of his image and go behind it, like some other personalities to whom I believe that our people of Kerala gave undeserved consideration. (I do not mention his name here). But Pro. MN Vijayan never go behind for such cheep popularity.

I saw the movie yesterday. Shared the same feelings about the 2 halves, as you did. Just waiting and hoping that the air would get cleared any moment.

Left me totally confused at the end and uncomfortable too. Remembered that you has done this blog and logged in to check up.

I think the best tribute to the movie is Anurag’s blog. Arrogance at its arrogant best!

I think impotency of the leader is the main issue at hand. The issue of corruption wouldn’t have gone out of control had there been some direction and conviction in the PM’s response. Equally alarming is the fact that his entire crew chose to act in the same color. And now Anna is arrested!!!
Yeah, an elected MP from Loksabha should hold these offices. Just like an IPS officer is mandated to serve a police station as a “in-charge of one station” for 3 months, bearers of such high offices should contest and work among the people in the streets(not necessarily in Bhatta Parsaul, treating it as jackpot of populism).
One thing is for sure – bad politics can not be compensated for by good economics/administration etc. Of the 3 institutions of democracy, failure of any one can push us to disaster. But as you said, who will explain this to public?
My vote is – Rahul Gandhi, of all the people, can not.

who ever have negative comments….i think they deserve to be stupid nor have any knowledge about art…Urumi movie was great movie after a long time i have been watched a good movie in one part….This Movie have perfect moments ,perfect actions, perfect song secens, pefect acting

Good review, yes, its film of new YUP generation. but I think there is some overusage of slangs in second half. Poornna Jagannathan is a wonder she is from Tunisia just happened to have this role by luck. I cant think of another actress who can portray that character better in India.

But have you noticed that its just an intelligent rework of Our Siddique Lal Movie “In Harihar Nagar”

Kudos to Vinay Raaz who portrayed the goon Somayajulus role, like Vijayaraghavan did as Ramjirao.
