While Obama wins…

She can’t be bargained with. She can’t be reasoned with. She doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And she absolutely will not stop, ever. Despite Obama winning Iowa yesterday, Tom Maguire feels Hillary will be tough to defeat. Hillary is arguably the most eligible candidate for presidency, as she puts it “a President from day One”. But as Hillary catches her first flight to New Hampshire for the next primary, her dollar 100 million war chest looks vulnerable, hey she lost!. A “white” state voted for Obama? It is simplifying things to such an extent as saying evangelicals polled Huckabee to the top. Guess its ’92 again, the middle class needs change and chances are “change” is not just changing Bush, and perhaps unluckily Hillary is part of what Americans want to change. Iowa Results

Obama’s American dream speech is interesting, excerpts

America is the sum of our dreams. And what binds us together, what makes us one American family, is that we stand up and fight for each other’s dreams, that we reaffirm that fundamental belief – I am my brother’s keeper, I am my sister’s keeper – through our politics, our policies, and in our daily lives. It’s time to do that once more. It’s time to reclaim the American dream

Talkies editorial opinion is clearly influenced by this conversation about White people from Good Sheperd,

Joseph Palmi: Let me ask you something… we Italians, we got our families, and we got the chuch; the Irish they have the homeland, jews their tradition; even the niggas, they got their music. What about you people, Mr. Wilson, what do you have?

Edward Wilson: The United States of America, and the rest of you are just visiting.

Lets not take United States away from the white male and I hope on Super Tuesday, the handsome white male reigns. He came second yesterday btw, a new wave as his email says.

Yeah right, I know you’re rooting for Edwards since long. One of those still romanticized by the white male with blond hair (turns pepper while in office) types — a la Michael Douglas or Harrison Ford in the movies. Feels good knowing that the free world is in the safe hands of the white man.

But in Bushie terminology, ‘make no mistake about it’, I think its gonna be Obama.

If you still want the presidential looks – check out Romney….think Miramax can sign him for the next one…

PS: Don’t we have other shit to take care of? 😉

In tonight’s debate, there were two “change candidates” on the stage. But we have very different approaches. I don’t believe you can sit around a table with the drug companies, the insurance companies or the oil corporations, negotiate with them – and then hope they’ll just voluntarily give their power away. You can’t nice them to death – it doesn’t work.

They’ll only give their power away when we take it away. As president, I will fight these powerful corporate interests, stand-up to them – and beat them. Help me in that fight.

It’s important for you to contribute now so we can show America that I am the candidate of real and lasting change. I need your help today.

    Sincerely,

    John

Thus spake Edwards :)…we are in deep shit anyways

    >>>>I don’t believe you can sit around a table with ……it doesn’t work

What a load of commie BS. The lawyer needs Econ 101. Maybe he can read some adam smith or friedman while having his $400 haircut.
He will push the world into recession.

Regarding the simplicity in the white people voting for black guy stuff, race (like caste) is an elephant noone wants to acknowledge. It’s well, irritating. Obama maybe the most acceptable blk man they’ve ever had…Anyways.

Yes, he is the change candidate, but don’t count out the republicans yet. If they nominate the cross dresser or the mormon they start with a disav but if Rove comes in for the War hero (against esp. clinton), u never kno.

Jay, a Prez who gets the basics right, with some amount of luck will ensure growth, pbly Hillary will like Clinton and his 8 years.

If they were ok with a cow boy clown for 8 years, they should be ok with a black 🙂

and abt Edward’s recession, the cliched question comes up…whose growth is it any way…in that way we are in the midst of a depression

abt that $400 haircut, its a reactionary quip, and Obama just can’t afford that…he’s got no frickin hair man 🙂
