LOL @ eklavya… actually it was the ending that ruined it as well as some hokey bits with amitabh’s super hero-like sevak. for the most part i thought it was pretty … well, not fun but pretty anyway. 😀
Q: why do we not send anything other than hindi cinema to the oscars? esp when most of our international recognition has come from so-called regional cinema like Malayalam and Tamil and Bengali?

LOL! I was just speaking rhetorically. Hmmm, it bears investigation. God, I’d forgotten about that Jeans thing. Yuck. I recently rewatched Kandukondein Kandukondein and I really think that’s Ash’s best performance to date. There wasn’t any of that annoying “look at me I’m pretty and ACTing” going on.
